Family Summer Bucket List

This summer was the first of ours that had a distinct end. The triplets started kindergarten two weeks ago and all year I've felt the pressure to make our last summer of their pre-school years count. We made a bucket list (all kid suggestions) which we mostly completed, including drawing pictures, camping, hiking, swimming, and having a dance party with their friends. We also celebrated Justin's grad school graduation and had our first family road trip (to Nashville). It was super hard to narrow down my favorites, so there are a lot. :) I love that photos help me to remember the good stuff, from little details to big picture life events.

We drove 12 hours to Nashville and met up with some friends to go camping at Fall Creek Falls State Park. Walking across the long bridge and swimming in waterfalls were some highlights!

This series of photos at our home were taken by my friend and Honey + Salt partner, Erin Blinn-Curran.

The kids and I spent a couple of days at Erin's family's lake house and just had the best time. They got to swim in a lake and get pulled on a tube behind the boat (so. many. giggles.) and play with their four-legged buddy Darby. Erin took a few photos of me and the kids too which you'll see in this set. As the mom and family photographer I don't make appearances in too many photos, so every time Erin catches some natural moments for us it makes my heart full.
